Grace Read success in Nottingham

Grace Rhead’s hard work paid off with a Bronze medal at the Junior Inter-regional Championships at Nottingham today. Grace actually won her race but the Championships were changed to a time trial because of the strong winds. Sculling on the West Float gives Grace an advantage on rough water and she used her boat handling skills to good effect. The North West team performed brilliantly, taking third place overall. Thanks again to Lesley Kuguloglu for her coaching and Guy Weatherly for his support of Grace.
