Take M53 towards Chester.

Continue past J12 and leave at the next exit (A51) towards Chester.

Cross the Ring Road A41 continuing along the A51 towards the City Centre.

Follow the road over the railway bridge and then turning left at the traffic lights and immediately right towards the city centre.

At the gyratory take the left lane A 5268.

Follow this road round and just past the Amphitheatre turn left into Souters Lane (narrow road) towards the Groves.

At the river you will see the rowing club trailers and can drop off and try to find a parking space.

However you are more likely to find parking at the Roodee Car Park at the end of Castle Drive.

To get here drive back up Souters Lane, turn left and then left at the traffic lights into Lower Bridge Road and then turn right just before Handbridge, Follow round to the Car Park, or park on the roadside.
