Use the Wallasey or Birkenhead Tunnel to Liverpool and take signs to the M62

Join the M62 at the end of Edge Lane.

As you approach Manchester turn left onto the M60 (Manchester Outer Ring Road)

Continue on the M60 taking signs to Bradford and Leeds eventually re-joining the M62.

Continue to Junction 26 and turn left onto the M606 towards Bradford.

At the end of the M606 you should turn left onto the A6117 (Bradford Ring Road). This will take you around Bradford in a clockwise direction.

The ring road becomes the A647 for a short distance before rejoining the A6117.

Having gone about half way round the ring road turn left onto the A650 to Keighley. At the Branch Hotel Pub turn right (traffic lights) onto the A6038 towards Shipley/Ilkley/Otley.

After five sets of lights and having crossed the River Aire turn left into Green Lane (opposite a carpet store).

Continue along this road which runs into Coach Road and then Higher Coach Road with Salts Grammar School on your right.

Eventually you come to the road that goes down to the Boathouse. You will need to park on the Upper Coach Road (unless you have the trailer)
