Vics win Gold and Bronze Medals at the English Indoors!

Fantastic results from the English Indoor Rowing Championships, held at the Manchester Velodrome. Vics sent a strong team of juniors (and some adults competed as well!). Boston Marathon

Congratulations to Mike Vick and Kate Wilson whose training paid off with a win at the Lincoln to Boston Marathon. This 31 mile epic is run each autumn and is a real test of stamina. North of England Sprint Regatta – Hollingworth Lake

As usual, Vics entered a lot of crews at the last regatta of the year at Hollingworth Lake. In the past, we have won the Victor Ludorum, both for the Juniors and the Seniors. Vics try to attend the annual August Bank Holiday regatta at Ross on Wye, although this year the weather was not as favourable for camping as it has been in previous years! Vics entered 7 crews at Warrington Regatta, with 4 losing at the semi final stage and two finals. The Open 1x was an all Vics final between Sam Crowe and Arvind Mahendran, with Sam winning. The WMasC/E 4+ stroked by Joanne Harrison lost in the final to Trafford. More
